CNC Honing Machinist
📍 Location: Motorsport Valley, UK
💰 Salary & Benefits:
- Circa £45,000 – £55,000
- Bonus scheme

🕒 Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 08:30 – 17:30 (Flexibility required)
📄 Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced CNC Honing Machinist to join our world-leading high-performance engineering business in Motorsport Valley.
Working in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, you'll have responsibility for precision cylinder liner honing operations, component finishing and supporting the manufacturing process for next-generation high-performance powertrain components.

Key Responsibilities
- CNC cylinder liner honing using advanced honing machinery
- Working from engineering drawings and process sheets
- Performing in-process inspection and final finishing operations
- Ensuring components meet exacting quality standards
- Supporting production deadlines and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with wider manufacturing activities when required
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within CNC honing and precision machining
- Strong knowledge of honing theory, processes, and machinery
- Experience with cylinder liner honing and precision-engineered components
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
- Experience with Sunnen honing equipment preferred
- Background in motorsport, automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing
