CNC Lathe Operator – Full-Time, Permanent | Braintree
Location: Braintree
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (No weekend work)
Salary: £30,000 per annum starting

The Role
We are hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our production team and manufacture specialised optical and medical-grade components.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathe machinery to strict specifications.
- Work with delicate, high-tolerance materials to produce optical and medical-grade components.
- Conduct regular quality checks and measurements, ensuring healthcare standards compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or Setter/Operator.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with high-precision, high-tolerance machining (helpful: prior work with optical or medical-grade materials, though not strictly essential).
- A sharp eye for detail, with a ** commitment to quality**.
