Goodman Precision Engineering Ltd, based in Milton Keynes, manufacture high precision CNC milled and turned components from solid and cast in a wide range of metals and plastics. We supply across a variety of industry sectors including motorsport, automotive, and industrial. At our core, is an established customer base within F1 and the specialist automotive sectors.
We are now offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join our late shift.

Experience and competencies:
- An experienced Setter Operator across a range of 3 and 5 axis CNC machine centres, ideally within a fast-paced precision engineering and prototype environment.
- A good working knowledge of either Heidenhein, Hurco, or Mazatrol controls.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and be proficient in carrying out in-process dimensional and visual checks using the appropriate measurement equipment.
- Experienced in machining a wide range of metals and plastics.
- Good communication with the ability to relay clear and concise feedback to operators and engineers.
- Work efficiently to deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to mind multiple machines when required.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safe working practices.

Late shift hours:
- Late - 14:00 - 22:00, Monday – Thursday. 13:00 - 20:00, Friday.
Competitive salary plus late shift premium.
