CNC Machinist
CNC Machinist – Turning/Milling/Grinding Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking to work with cutting-edge machinery in a high-quality manufacturing environment? Responsibilities
- Ensuring the smooth, efficient running of CNC machines
- Producing components that consistently meet strict quality standards
- Delivering work On Time In Full (OTIF)
- Carrying out self-inspection and sanctioning of your own work
- Working across turning, milling, and grinding operations (cell-dependent)
- Supporting excellent workplace organisation and 5S standards
- Gaining full cross-training across all cell disciplines
- Occasionally assisting with assembly, pinning, or non-machinery tasks

Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in CNC turning or milling or grinding
- Confident using standard measuring equipment
- Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- A reliable, team-focused attitude with a commitment to quality
- Comfortable following procedures and working to targets
Desirable
- NVQ in Engineering Manufacture (or equivalent) / Advanced Apprenticeship
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above)
- Computer literacy
Shift Pattern
A Shift
- Mon–Thu: 6:00am – 1:35pm
- Fri: 6:00am – 12:45pm
B Shift
- Mon–Thu: 1:25pm – 9:05pm
- Fri: 12:35pm – 7:00pm (20% shift premium)
- Overtime available when required
