About the Role
The CNC Mill Machinist is a critical role within our manufacturing team, responsible for producing precision components using CNC machine tools. This position requires operating and setting up milling machines to manufacture high-quality parts of varying sizes and volumes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety at all times.
Collaboration across departments and a commitment to continuous process improvement are essential. You will play a direct role in delivering cutting-edge solutions for global live events, aerospace, and high-end manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform daily quality checks using precision measurement tools (callipers, micrometres, gauges) to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements.
- Load raw materials and select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine programs to optimise production.
- Optimise machining processes to reduce cycle times and improve part quality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain strict machine cleanliness, lubrication, and basic upkeep to ensure reliability.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, CAD models, and work instructions accurately.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
- Strict adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations within the workshop.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating multi-axis CNC milling machines.
- Familiarity with manual machining techniques (e.g., lathes, press brakes, surface grinders).
- Knowledge of CNC programming (common software: Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain).
- Experience in high-precision industries, such as aerospace or automotive.
- Ability to work night shift (as required).
