Salary: £18.00 per hour + Salary Sacrifice Schemes, Pension & More
Hours: 39 hours per week (Flexible between 06:00 – 16:30)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
Are you an experienced CNC Miller with strong programming capability? Do you enjoy working on precision components and modern multi-axis machinery? This well-established and forward-thinking engineering business in Wellingborough is seeking to recruit a skilled operator for a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Programming, setting, and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Working predominantly with HAAS controls
- Producing high-quality, precision components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out tool changes, offsets, and first-off inspections
- Ensuring consistent quality and adherence to production standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement within the machining process

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Programmer, Setter, or Operator)
- Strong offline programming experience (offline training available)
- Experience working with complex, high-precision components
- Background in motorsport, aerospace, or Formula 1-type components (advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of parts from start to finish
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
