Senior CNC Machinist – BSC Filters (Brecht, UK)

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our customer-focused, results-driven team in our state-of-the-art machine shop. As part of a high-performing technical environment, you will play a pivotal role in producing high-precision filters for global customers. Working on a Monday–Friday shift pattern, your contributions will directly support our weekly production and machine shop targets.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Processing
- Cutting, shaping, and manufacturing metals (aluminum, brass, copper) using Heidenhain-controlled CNC machines.
- Executing tasks from written instructions, procedures, and schematics to machine components.
- Setting up machinery and accessories, including pre-start inspections and fault identifiers.

Operational Commitments
- Performing machine warm-up protocols and equipment maintenance to ensure system health and consistency.
- Identifying, resolving, and escalating machine faults and operational issues.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workspace to comply with workshop standards.
- Managing quality inspections, ensuring ** produkts meet technical specifications**.
Documentation & Systems
- Updating production data, recording job downtime, and maintaining after-production paper trails for traceability.
Requirements
We are looking for motivated individuals with practical experience in CNC machining and a proclivity for continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will have:
Qualifications & Experience
✔ An apprenticeship or formal qualification in CNC machinist or a related engineering discipline. ✔ Direct work experience in metalworking/machine tools within an industrial/engineering workshop.

Essential Skills
- Practice children under safety protocols (PPE, risk assessments, machine operation).
- Diagnostic & troubleshooting ability to identify emerging technical problems independently.
- Attention to detail in reading blueprints, applying correct workpiece spacings, and achieving dimensional accuracy.
- Excellent communication to work collaboratively with team members.
Work Arrangement
- Full-time, on-site position.
