About the Role
We are looking for motivated and reliable CNC Operators to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced precision engineering environment, producing high-quality components to customer specifications.
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently, carrying out in-process checks, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production targets are achieved.
We have opportunities available on both Double Day Rotating Shifts and Permanent Night Shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery in accordance with work instructions and production requirements.
- Load and unload components safely and efficiently.
- Conduct in-process quality checks using measurement equipment.
- Read and follow engineering drawings and job card instructions.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and report any defects or non-conformances.
- Monitor machine performance and identify issues affecting quality or productivity.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Support continuous improvement activities and 5S standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, setters, inspectors and supervisors.
- Comply with all company Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
- Support achievement of production, quality and delivery targets.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by management.

About You
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience operating CNC machinery or automated production equipment.
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Experience using basic measuring equipment such as Verniers, Micrometers or Gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, flexible and willing to work shift patterns.
- Basic IT skills.

Desirable Requirements
- Experience operating CNC milling or turning machines.
- Experience in aerospace or precision engineering industries.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Experience working to production targets and KPIs.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and 5S principles.
