Location: Maldon, Essex
Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour (DOE) + Overtime
Are you an experienced CNC Milling Operator looking to join a well-established precision engineering company? Our client is a growing subcontract manufacturer producing high-quality one-off and small-batch components for a range of industries, including Motorsport, Defence, and Pharmaceutical.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy workshop with plenty of overtime available and the chance to further develop your skills.
The Role
As a CNC Operator, You Will Be Responsible For
- Operating CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components.
- Proving out jobs before production.
- Working to extremely tight tolerances (down to 20 microns).
- Inspecting your own work using precision measuring equipment.
- Reading and following engineering drawings.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

The Ideal Candidate
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Previous CNC milling experience.
- The ability to work to fine tolerances.
- Experience carrying out first-off and in-process inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
The Following Would Be Advantageous But Are Not Essential

- CNC setting and programming experience.
- Hurco or Fanuc controls experience.
- Apprenticeship or engineering qualifications.

- Up to £15.50 per hour, depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week).
