CNC Operator
CNC Operator – Temporary to Permanent (Coventry)
Location: Coventry
Pay: £14.34 per hour (with attractive overtime rates)
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Contract: 12 weeks Temporary to Permanent
About the Role
Empowered Personnel are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to join a client-based in Coventry. The role offers progression opportunities into a CNC Turner Setter position for the right candidate. Some setting experience would be advantageous.
You will be responsible for operating and setting CNC turning machines using FANUC controls, producing high-quality precision components to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating and setting CNC turning machines with FANUC controls
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Producing high-quality precision components
- Supporting machine setup and adjustments
- Ensuring efficient and accurate machine operation
- Conducting basic maintenance and troubleshooting
- Upholding strict standards of quality and health & safety
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator required.
- Prior setting experience would be advantageous.
- Experience working with FANUC controls.
- Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to develop with progression opportunities.

Requirements
- Previous experience exclusively in a CNC Operator role (critical).
- Willingness to progress into a CNC Turner Setter position.
- Must be physically fit (due to heavy lifting requirements).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to quality and safety standards.
