Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £14.34 per hour + attractive overtime rates
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Friday: 7:30am – 11:00am
Contract Type: 12 weeks Temporary to Permanent
Empowered Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to join our client based in Coventry. Some setting experience would be advantageous. There is also progression into a CNC Turner Setter role for the right candidate.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for operating and setting CNC turning machines using FANUC controls, producing high-quality precision components to technical drawings and specifications.

- Operating and setting CNC turning machines using FANUC controls
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Producing high-quality precision components
- Supporting machine setup and adjustments
- Ensuring machines are running efficiently and correctly set
- Carrying out basic maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator
- Some setting experience would be advantageous
- Experience working with FANUC controls
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements
- Previous experience in a CNC Operator role
- Willingness to learn and develop into a CNC Turner Setter role
- Must be physically fit, as the role involves heavy lifting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to quality and safety standards
