Description


Your responsibilities

We are currently looking for a CNC Operative to join us here at our site in Preston! As a CNC Operator, you will be picking material from the racks or picking up materials from a machine for customer orders and operating and programming our CNC machines. You may also be required to load or unload vehicles and scan away to a rack location whilst adhering to quality and safety procedures.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday-Friday
    • Week 1 - 6am-2pm
    • Week 2 - 2pm-10pm

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Programming and setting CNC Machines
  • Ensuring we have warehouse traceability
  • Ensuring material cut accurately
  • Preparing customers' orders
  • Checking of incoming and outgoing deliveries for quality and quantity
  • Driving forklift trucks when authorised to gather material for the jobs and record all information on job sheets
  • Use appropriate measuring equipment
