Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled CNC Press Brake Operator to join our client's production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal components to precise specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines in line with production requirements
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications
- Select the correct tooling, machine settings, and materials for each job
- Produce high-quality folded and formed metal parts to required tolerances
- Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Measure and check components using gauges, rulers, callipers, and other measuring equipment
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve accurate results
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting where required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery
- Ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings
- Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Experience using measuring tools and carrying out quality checks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping, reliability, and a positive attitude to work
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

- Background in a manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication environment
