CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

What You'll Be Doing:
- Programming, setting and operating advanced CNC machinery
- Loading workpieces, selecting tooling and setting machine parameters
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances 📐
- Creating and modifying CNC programmes using CAD/CAM software 💻
- Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting issues 🔍
- Inspecting finished components to ensure quality and accuracy ✔️
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and precision

What We're Looking For:
- Essential experience with Alphacam CAD/CAM programming
- Experience operating Puma SMX2600S CNC Lathe and Puma 3100LSY Multitask Turning Machines
- Ability to programme, set and operate using Fanuc 31iB5 Plus CNC Controls
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances 📏
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude 💪
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling heavier components
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £22–£24 per hour depending on experience
- Pay reviews twice annually
- Overtime opportunities available
