What You'll Be Doing:

  • Programming, setting and operating advanced CNC machinery
  • Loading workpieces, selecting tooling and setting machine parameters
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances πŸ“
  • Creating and modifying CNC programmes using CAD/CAM software πŸ’»
  • Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting issues πŸ”
  • Inspecting finished components to ensure quality and accuracy βœ”οΈ
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and precision

What We're Looking For:

  • Essential experience with Alphacam CAD/CAM programming
  • Experience operating Puma SMX2600S CNC Lathe and Puma 3100LSY Multitask Turning Machines
  • Ability to programme, set and operate using Fanuc 31iB5 Plus CNC Controls
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances πŸ“
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude πŸ’ͺ
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling heavier components

Salary & Benefits:

  • Up to Β£22–£24 per hour depending on experience
  • Pay reviews twice annually
