The CNC Programmer Role
This role will focus on creating and optimising CNC programs using TopSolid, supporting the production of high-quality machined components.

Key Responsibilities For The CNC Programmer Role
- Create programs for the machine shop from route card and customer specifications
- Be responsible for the security and organisation and production of the CNC programs with CAD/CAM software
- Review existing programs when required to increase efficiency in production
- Suggest new training/new technology programs as appropriate
- Develop tooling set up sheets for all CNC programs to assist in production

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM programming
- Experience with TopSolid would be highly beneficial or similar CAM software
- Understanding of machining processes including milling and turning
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models
- Experience with multi-axis machining (3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis)
- Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining optimisation
