CNC Programmer

About Absolute CNC Ltd

Absolute CNC Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our close-knit team in Burton-on-Trent, supporting our expansion. We specialise in the manufacture of precision-engineered components across diverse engineering sectors—from individual parts to larger batch production. Much of our output demands high-value, technical work using challenging materials, including exotic metals.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a confident CNC Programmer with exceptional craftsmanship, a focus on meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to be part of a supportive, skilled engineering team. Resilience for personal growth and career development within the company is also encouraged.

About the Role

This CNC Programmer must demonstrate a strong command of Fanuc controls, with the ability to program, set, and operate CNC machines effectively. Prior experience in milling or turning is highly regarded, though the ideal candidate brings expertise across both disciplines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
