Role Information
Econ Engineering Limited, the UK’s leading supplier of winter and highways maintenance vehicles, is experiencing continued growth and is seeking an experienced Offline CNC Programmer to join our dynamic production team.

- NC Programming: Develop CNC programs for Bystronic laser and press brake machines using BysoftCam software to meet works order requirements.
- Lathe Programming: Create CNC programs for CNC lathes utilizing Autodesk Fusion software.
- MRP Management: Review and process weekly MRP (Material Requirements Planning) reports to generate works order prints and drawings for shop floor distribution.
- Technical Modifications: Implement and process technical modifications from the technical department to support product improvements.
- Time Sheet Management: Input and process weekly shop floor time sheets for our accounts department.
- Materials Management: Co-ordinate and issue steel requirements for all nested programs to the production team for ordering.
- Collaboration: Ability to liaise effectively with the Factory Manager, shop floor supervisors, and laser, press, and machine shop operatives.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy with a solid understanding of Word and Excel. Familiarity with CNC machines is highly desirable.
- Technical Understanding: Ideally, you will be able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
- Responsibility & Reliability: Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to develop your skills and grow within the company.
- Proactivity: A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
