In this role, the successful candidate will be trained to program, set, and operate CNC Sliding Head machines, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent quality and health & safety standards across production.
The Role:
- Training to program, set, and operate CNC Sliding Head machines
- Interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances
- Manufacturing precision components for Aerospace, Defence, Subsea, and High-end Engineering
- Maintaining high quality and health & safety standards
- Working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
- Overtime available in the week and Saturdays paid at 1.33x in the week and 1.5x on Saturdays
The Person:
- CNC Turner, CNC Setter, or CNC Programmer background
- Keen to learn CNC Sliding Head machining
- Apprenticeship trained or previous CNC machining experience
- Strong understanding of tooling, materials, and tolerances
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
