CNC Setter/Operators - Milling
Location: Southend-On-Sea
Salary: £30,000 - £36,500 Depending On Experience
A world leader in aerospace component manufacturing are currently searching for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to work on days. You will need to have extensive CNC Milling experience using Mazak and be able to work from drawings to produce aerospace components.
Duties
- Setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits
- Manufacturing all components within an agreed timescale
- Be responsible for setting a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as and when required
- Use a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components
- Make sure that manufactured products are suitably protected for transit
- Mentor new staff as required
- Be responsible for making sure that all manufacturing paperwork is filled out correctly.

Experience
- Extensive CNC Milling experience is essential
- Must be able to read engineering drawings, set CNC machines and use measuring equipment
- Mazak CNC Machining Centre experience would be beneficial
- Ability to work using Metric and Imperial is a must
- You will ideally be qualified to GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
- Aerospace industry experience preferred
