CNC Setter/Operator – Permanent Nights
Location: Plymouth Salary: £39,000

About the Role
This is a permanent night shift role covering Sunday night to Friday morning.
- Shift pattern: 10:00 PM (Sunday) to 06:00 AM (Friday morning, 5 shifts per week)
- Overtime available
- Future flexibility for other shift patterns

Responsibilities
- Setting and/or operating CNC machines
- Producing components to engineering specifications
- Conducting first-off inspections and in-process checks
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges)
- Adhering to health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience and/or knowledge of machining processes in a precision engineering environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience with inspection and measuring equipment (Formal engineering qualification is advantageous but not always essential; experience carries weight.)
