  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Location: Fareham
  • Duration: Permanent

The Role

You’ll be working within a machine shop team focused on CNC turning operations. The site operates a range of CNC automatic lathes, particularly sliding head machines.

You Will Be

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC sliding head multi-axis lathes
  • Other machining as required such as manual turning, milling and grinding
  • Second operation activities such as deburring
  • General housekeeping activities

Qualifications

Experience

We Are Looking For

  • An Engineering background
  • A CNC Machinist capable of programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC lathes.
  • Experience in high precision environments
  • Sliding head experience would be highly desirable
