CNC Turner

£18 - £21 per hour + Overtime (Enhanced Rate, Uncapped)
Nottingham

Are you a CNC Turner, or similar with experience in CNC turning operations, looking to join a progressive engineering company offering training on different types of machines, enhanced overtime rates, and the opportunity to further develop your technical skills?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established precision engineering business specialising in high-quality CNC machining and component manufacturing. The company supports a wide range of customers with accurate, reliable production across prototypes, small batches, and larger production runs. You will work on a range of CNC turning and machining equipment, producing high-quality components to technical drawings and specifications, while receiving training on the company's machinery within a supportive manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will be setting and operating CNC machines, loading programmes, making offsets and tooling adjustments, and producing precision turned components. You will carry out first-off inspections, monitor machining quality throughout production, and support basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure efficient output.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
