CNC Turner

Miskin

£36,000

Yolk Recruitment is exclusively managing a new opportunity for a CNC Turner to join a growing team, working on a two shift rota, mornings and afternoons.

This long-standing engineering business is a key supplier to a global AAA client base, with customers relying on their services for over 20 years and a strong long term order book continuing to provide security for the future.

This is what you'll be doing:

  • Programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components in line with engineering drawings and required tolerances.
  • Machine a range of specialist materials, including Inconel, Super Duplex and other heat-resistant super alloys.
  • Create, save and edit CNC programmes using Fanuc controls, selecting appropriate cutting tools and machining conditions.
  • Self-inspect completed work using a range of metrology equipment, following first-off inspection procedures and maintaining all required documentation.
  • Support the wider production team through basic machine maintenance, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety, and providing guidance and training to colleagues where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
