Role: CNC Turning Technician (Week Day Night Shift, Monday - Thursday)

Salary: Contractor rate £22.06 per hour inclusive of 20% shift premium / Permanent Salary £42,400 - £43,500 inclusive of 20% shift premium, plus benefits
The Role
This position supports small batch CNC turning work for high-quality transmission components in motorsport and aerospace, working within a small, focused team and supported by offline programming tools.
Key Competencies And Experience
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and planning route cards to produce components to the highest quality, within routed timeframes Experience working on CNC lathes, including: Victor Turn II 26 HD Leadwell LTC 25iL with Siemens 828D Doosan Puma GT3100 Familiarity with Fanuc controls is essential; knowledge of Siemens controls is advantageous Ability to read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, including adjusting speeds and feeds as necessary Working knowledge of turning tips and their correct applications Advantageous: experience operating a small manual lathe and/or Harrison Alpha 400 Plus NC lathe Comfortable working in a small team with a proactive and innovative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required Willingness to work additional hours to help meet delivery deadlines Working here
