I’m currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation that is investing heavily in its technology landscape and looking to hire a Senior, Full Stack, C#.NET, React, Kafka, AWS Software Engineer to help build and evolve a modern, enterprise-grade platform at the heart of the business.

About the Role

Working alongside experienced C#.NET, React, Kafka, AWS engineers, architects and product teams, you will help develop scalable, resilient technology that underpins multiple business functions. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working with modern cloud-native technologies and influencing the direction of enterprise platforms, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities

As a Senior, C#.NET, React, Kafka, AWS Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll work across both back-end and front-end development, designing and building scalable solutions using C# /.NET and React. You’ll be responsible for developing high-quality enterprise applications, building RESTful APIs and distributed microservices, and creating modern user-facing features that support the organisation’s strategic technology initiatives.

  • Contribute to the development of shared platform capabilities, including API gateways, centralised APIs, connectivity frameworks and AI enabled services.
  • Work with event-driven architectures, cloud-native applications and AWS technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects and engineering teams.
  • Participate in technical design discussions.
  • Influence architectural decisions.
  • Support the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with C# /.NET
  • Experience using RESTful APIs and microservices within enterprise environments
  • Experience with React
  • Experience working with AWS services
  • Experience working with event-driven architectures, ideally using Kafka
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • Salary: Up to £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits
  • Location: London
  • Commute: The closest station is Liverpool Street Station
  • Working Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
