About the Role
As Orchestras for All celebrates its 15-year milestone, we are launching a delegation to recruit a new Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees. This role is pivotal in driving forward our next strategy in partnership with a fellow Co-Chair, an alum of the charity’s programmes.
The Co-Chairs will play a crucial leadership role, ensuring the charity’s mission to make music accessible to young people from all backgrounds is at the forefront of our vision.
Together, the Co-Chairs will:
- Provide energising leadership to the Board
- Create a culture of ambition and accountability
- Uphold the values of inclusivity, ownership, and collaboration

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the other Co-Chair to set the strategic direction of Orchestras for All for the next five years
- Lead the Board to fulfill its governance responsibilities and champion better access to youth music-making nationally
- Support the development of a strong Board culture founded on inclusivity, transparency, high standards, and collective decision-making
- Provide clear leadership to the Board with a focus on strategic oversight, accountability, and reputation management

Location & Remuneration
- Location: UK-wide
- Remuneration: This is a voluntary role, but reasonable expenses will be covered.
