Co-founder & CEO - AI-Driven Drug Discovery
Join us to build the company that makes AI do the reasoning work of drug discovery—so a small team can do the research of a large one.
We are seeking an experienced founder and operator to join two technical founders as Co-founder & CEO, steering a built, already-used platform through a competitive seed round, Series A, and beyond.
The role is full-time, UK-based, spinning out of Deep Science Ventures (DSV) over the coming months.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Drug discovery still relies on human cognition. Progress hinges on researchers interpreting literature, connecting disparate datasets, and deciding what to test next—bounded by cognitive limits and siloed team structures. This is a global, albeit unscalable, problem that demands transformation.
We are constructing genuine AI-driven reasoning at scale:
- Generates and pressure-tests drug-disease hypotheses
- Validates scientific claims against existing evidence
- Unlocks information currently fragmented across teams and tools
- Converts scattered insights into actionable intelligence for discovery teams
The platform already delivers end-to-end functionality: in a single run, it digested a disease’s whole single-cell research literature, constructed a connected biological map, and returned drug-target hypotheses, each annotated as supported or refuted with evidence traces.
The technical foundation is complete. The liberation of human cognitive bottlenecks is imminent.
Our near-term focus is target validation—helping discovery teams prioritise targets backed by concrete evidence. The engine powers upward toward the ultimate aim: predicting clinical trial outcomes before they commence, explaining the predictions, and securing pharma’s necessary transition to small, milestone-based payments for AI solutions.
We envision a future where progress is governed by idea quality, not by human bandwidth, and monetised akin to how drug development partnerships are now structured.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
