Growth / Marketing Co-Founder – MatchMyMood

MatchMyMood is an early-stage consumer technology start-up preparing for launch. We are building a digital platform designed around shared discovery, decision-making and social interaction.

We are now looking for a Growth / Marketing Co-Founder to join the founding team and help shape the company’s launch, audience growth and early traction.

This is an equity-based co-founder opportunity suited to someone who understands how to take a new consumer product from pre-launch to active user growth.

The role

You will lead the growth and marketing strategy for MatchMyMood, helping to build awareness, attract early users and create momentum ahead of launch.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and owning the launch marketing strategy
  • Building and growing the waitlist, beta community and early user base
  • Creating organic and paid acquisition tests across relevant channels
  • Leading social media strategy, content planning and community growth
  • Identifying and managing creator, influencer and partnership opportunities
  • Developing referral loops and user-led growth opportunities
  • Supporting app-store optimisation and launch positioning
  • Creating content pillars for different audience groups and use cases
  • Tracking performance data and turning early metrics into investor-ready traction
  • Working closely with the founder on brand positioning, commercial strategy and fundraising preparation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
