Co-ordinator
Co-ordinator – Tower Hamlets
Salary: Up to £32,000.00 per annum Hours: 42.5 hrs Monday to Friday Contract: Full-time / Permanent

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on operational efficiency, resource management, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the scheduling of operative and sub-contractor resources to ensure:
- Effective resource management
- Delivery of a customer-focused repairs service
- Achievement of performance targets
- Ensure IT systems are utilised effectively, including:
- Operatives using and updating their PDAs correctly
- Accurate inputting of schedule of rate codes
- Monitor and update repairs on an ongoing basis, including:
- Job status progress
- Jobs raised and booked within target times
- Cancelled works orders
- Repairs lacking appointments
- Overdue jobs and follow-on tasks (all actions to be completed by end of each day)
- Centralise the customer experience in all activities:
- Maintain a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and internal/external stakeholders
- Ensure high standards of appearance, company ID visibility, and health & safety compliance
- Act as a key liaison between residents, maintenance workers, and clients for ongoing work
- Provide and escalate accurate, timely information through effective communication with colleagues

Collaborate with administrators, operatives, supervisors, and subcontractors to:
- Deliver efficient, high-quality service
- Support high customer satisfaction aligned with standard operating procedures

Fully adhere to policies, procedures, initiatives, and work instructions

Maintain company assets in line with policies and report damages to management

Offer backup support to other coordinators, including cover roles

Attend company/client meetings, informal gatherings, and training sessions as scheduled
Requirements
Experience and skills essential to this role include:
- Proven coordination experience in similar or equivalent responsibilities
- Planning and organisational skills to manage workloads effectively
- Social housing/development sector experience (preferable)
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths
- Fast-paced, high-pressure environment experience
- Strong IT proficiency (e.g., PDA systems, scheduling software)
- Exceptional time management, organisational, and communication skills
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations
