Coach

Remote with regular travel across the West Midlands

Position Details

  • Salary: £30,000.00 to £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Location: West Midlands (remote with regular travel)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

About the Role

We are 3SC, a social business within Twin Group, specialising in delivering public service contracts and supporting vulnerable individuals. As a Coach, you will work with people marginalised by society, with a particular focus on:

  • Those who are neurodivergent
  • Individuals who have experienced the criminal justice system

Your role will involve supporting individuals to fulfil their goals and improve their lives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support and coaching
  • Deliver to specified targets, quality standards, and compliance measures
  • Apply motivational and action planning techniques
  • Assess strengths and weaknesses, then identify areas for further development for participants
  • Adapt to the needs and interests of individuals or groups
  • Inspire confidence and self-belief in participants
  • Measure and report customer outcomes, including distance travelled metrics

Qualifications

  • Preferred: A Level 5 qualification in Coaching or an equivalent teaching qualification, or significant prior coaching experience.
  • Note: Applications are encouraged from individuals who may not hold these qualifications but are committed to obtaining them.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in coaching, managing, or working with the following:
    • Disadvantaged groups, including:
      • Neurodivergent individuals
      • Prison leavers
      • People with mental/physical health issues
      • Those seeking employment
  • Experience delivering both online/virtual and face-to-face coaching
  • Knowledge of motivational techniques and practices used with vulnerable groups

Additional Notes

  • You must be able to legally work in the UK.
  • Twin Group adheres to safeguarding policies and expects all staff to prioritise the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
  • Successful applicants will undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (standard or enhanced).
  • Any gaps in your CV must be explained satisfactorily.
