Job Title: Padel Tennis Coach
About the Role
We’re looking for passionate and energetic padel tennis coaches to join Padel Project UK (PPUK) in Potters Bar and help us build an inclusive community by introducing padel tennis to players of all levels.
As a self-employed coach, you’ll have flexibility in managing your own schedule, delivering sessions, and fostering a welcoming space for all players—while contributing to our mission of making padel accessible to everyone.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Player Engagement
- Create and sustain a friendly, inviting environment that encourages players of all standards
- Ensure safety and enjoyment during all sessions
- Engage with players and the community through WhatsApp groups and personal communication

Technology & Operations
- Manage bookings, cancellations, and class scheduling via the Playtomic app (full training provided by PPUK)
- Report any court maintenance issues, vandalism, or health & safety concerns to the on-site manager
Requirements
To coach with PPUK, you must provide:
- Padel coaching certification (qualification certificate)
- If registered with the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association):
- LTA Coach Code
- LTA Coach Licence
- Public Liability Insurance (minimum £5 million cover)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- DBS Check (if unable to provide a personal disclosure, PPUK will arrange this for you at 50% coach expense via CRBdirect)
- Valid First Aid Certificate (training can be arranged through PPUK, 100% coach fee)
- Safeguarding training (training can be arranged through PPUK, 100% coach fee)
