What You’ll Do In Your Role

You will play a key role in growing BTS’s end-to-end coaching business - human-led coaching at all levels in organisations, You will be looking after and expanding a portfolio of existing clients, originating new client relationships, and delivering high-impact coaching engagements for senior leaders across BTS clients. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate a strong track record in both account growth and new business origination, alongside deep coaching expertise. This role carries an increased focus on business development within the client relationship space, working alongside account managers, with sales targets attached to the position.

Variety is key in all our roles. You’ll work with multiple clients at one time, across different industries, balancing account growth, new business origination and coaching delivery. Much of our work is virtual, but for some engagements there is also travel.

The rest of your time is spent shaping the coaching offer itself as a subject matter expert — sharpening propositions, contributing to proposals, and working with colleagues across BTS to bring the best of the organisation to every client conversation.

This Role Centers Around The Following Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing corporate coaching clients - working alongside account managers - building sustainable, senior-level relationships that lead to renewed and expanded engagements over time.
  • Originate new client relationships and convert opportunities into sales, through your own network, referrals and proactive business development, building a strong and growing coaching pipeline.
  • Partner closely with our Sales Enablement colleagues to open new doors and identify white space opportunity across existing accounts, then shape smart, compelling proposals and position BTS’s coaching offerings within wider account strategies.
  • Design and lead the delivery of bespoke coaching solutions - 1:1 executive coaching, group and team coaching, and coach-the-coach programmes - for senior leaders at some of the world’s leading corporations.
  • Collaborate with Faculty colleagues to build, brief and quality-assure a network of associate coaches per engagement, to ensure every engagement reflects BTS’s standards and reputation in the market.
  • Develop and share thought leadership in executive coaching to position BTS as a credible, trusted voice with senior HR, talent and business leaders.
  • You'll also be expected to lead others as the lead within our internal client teams and potentially as line manager, taking responsibility for the learning and professional growth of those who work with you.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience designing, developing and delivering executive coaching solutions to senior leaders, ideally including 1:1, group and team coaching.
  • Proven ability to look after and grow existing client relationships, with a track record of expanding scope, renewing engagements and deepening trust with senior stakeholders over time.
  • Clear evidence of originating and bringing in new clients - through your own network, market credibility or proactive business development - rather than relying solely on inbound or account handover.
  • Experience working closely with Sales Enablement or business development colleagues to drive pipeline.
  • A formal coaching qualification/accreditation (e.g. ICF, EMCC), reflecting the seniority and credibility expected at Director level.
  • Extensive presentation and facilitation skills in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Able to create and share thought leadership in coaching to inspire clients and invite them into deeper conversations and relationships.
  • Embrace developments in AI and technology and approach to design and deliver outstanding coaching experiences at pace and scale.
  • Able to collaborate and develop others, providing feedback to improve performance and inspire confidence in their work.
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence.
  • Able to draw on a substantial professional network for potential clients.
  • Agile and curious mindset.
  • Excellent English language skills. Skills in another of our European languages is helpful, but not necessary (French, German, Swedish, Dutch).
  • An ability to communicate effectively in various settings, including with senior business leaders and executive teams.
