Company Description
Title: Coffee Bar Supervisor
Location: Holborn, London, UK
Salary: £15.50 per hour
BaxterStorey are looking for an experienced Coffee Bar Supervisor to join the team at McKinsey & Company. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with exceptional customer service skills and a passion for the food and beverage industry. This role involves managing staff, ensuring a high standard of service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and driving sales growth.

Job Description
About the Cafe Supervisor role:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our product and the service we provide are always of highest standard
- Monitor coffee standards excellence
- Supervise, manage, and motivate the team
- Support management team in working towards improving sales and service
- Support management team with daily/weekly sales input, stock take, ordering, and team rostering
- Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are always maintained
Qualifications:
- Excellent product knowledge of food and beverages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to take initiative and work independently
- Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
- Supportive team player with a collaborative attitude
- Strong presentation and customer service skills
- Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Basic maths skills for inventory management and cash handling
- Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
- Previous experience in a café or hospitality setting is desirable
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
