Coffee Partner or Head of Coffee (Retail)
Retail Coffee Quality, Training & Standards
Help shape how people experience coffee at Saint Espresso. At Saint Espresso, we believe coffee is about more than what is in the cup.
It is how we create connection.
Through exceptional coffee, genuine hospitality and thoughtfully designed spaces, we create experiences that bring people together. Everything we do is built around that belief.
As our current Acting Head of Coffee (Retail) prepares to return home to Poland, we’re looking for the next person to join our Core Team. Depending on your experience and readiness to lead the function, we’re open to appointing either a Coffee Partner or Head of Coffee (Retail).
Whether you’re already leading coffee across multiple locations, or you’re an exceptional coffee professional with a passion for developing others and the ambition to grow into departmental leadership, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
Reporting directly to our COO & Director of Coffee, you’ll play a central role in shaping the coffee experience across our growing London estate of cafés.
This role exists to ensure every guest receives coffee that reflects our standards for quality, hospitality and connection. It is about protecting what makes Saint special while continually developing the people, systems and standards that allow us to grow without compromising the experience we create.
This is a retail coffee role, focused on how coffee is delivered, taught and experienced across our cafés. You’ll work closely with our Retail Operations team, Roastery Manager and wider Core Team, acting as the bridge between our cafés and Saint Coffee Roasters to ensure consistency from roasting through to the final cup served to every guest.
For candidates joining as Coffee Partner, the role focuses on developing coffee quality, capability and standards while providing a structured pathway towards Head of Coffee (Retail).
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
