Contract: Outside IR35 Location: Remote (UK) Duration: Initial 12 Months (Long-Term Programme) Rate: Completely negotiable due to extremely niche skill set required.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced COINS Technical Integration Consultant to support a major construction organisation undergoing a significant commercial systems transformation programme.

This role will focus on the integration of a newly implemented Oracle platform with an existing COINS environment. The successful consultant will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting integrations that enable the secure and efficient exchange of commercial and financial data between systems.

Working closely with architecture and enterprise integration teams, you will play a key role in ensuring COINS can effectively support wider business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and support integrations involving COINS and enterprise applications.
  • Develop and expose APIs within the COINS environment.
  • Work with integration teams to support data exchange between COINS and Oracle.
  • Analyse, map and document data structures, data lineage and interface requirements.
  • Support API testing, troubleshooting and optimisation activities.
  • Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with best practice.
  • Collaborate with business, commercial and technical stakeholders throughout delivery.

Essential Experience

  • Strong technical experience working with COINS ERP.
  • Experience delivering API-led integrations and system interfaces.
  • Knowledge of Progress OpenEdge and/or ABL.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
  • Understanding of API standards, versioning and documentation practices.
  • Strong understanding of COINS data structures, datasets and schema.
  • Experience working within ERP, commercial or finance systems environments.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR)
  • Oracle ERP
  • Construction or housebuilding sector experience
  • Commercial management, job costing or financial systems exposure
  • Enterprise integration platform experience

This role requires proven technical experience within a COINS environment. Given the specialist nature of the programme, only candidates with direct COINS experience will be considered for interview. Applicants without demonstrable COINS experience will not be progressed.
