Colleague Services Coordinator

We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Colleague Services Coordinator to join our Business Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to colleagues, learners, visitors, and external stakeholders.

As the first point of contact for our Bournemouth centre, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities, services, and day-to-day operations run smoothly while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

36.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday)

What You'll Be Doing

As our Business Services Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide a professional front-of-house and reception service for visitors, learners, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
  • Manage service contracts, including cleaning, waste disposal, fire safety equipment, HVAC, washroom facilities, and workshop equipment.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, meetings, refreshments, and room bookings for colleagues.
  • Produce ID badges and issue welcome packs and essential equipment for new starters.
  • Support the wider Business Services and People teams with a range of administrative duties.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, parcel deliveries, and reception enquiries.
  • Raise purchase orders and coordinate supplier requirements.
  • Order office supplies, uniforms, equipment, furniture, and consumables.
  • Carry out health and safety checks, maintain risk assessments, and conduct weekly fire alarm testing.
  • Help ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a named key holder with occasional responsibility for opening and closing the centre.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at all times.
