About The Role
As Collections Administrator you will be responsible for running a portfolio of debt matters that primarily relate to merchants who have defaulted, merchant’s chargeback and seller clawbacks or HR debt.
What You’ll Do
- Open and close debt related matters;
- Liaise with merchants and sellers regarding these matters, primarily over the phone;
- Where required, issue proceedings, enter judgments and take enforcement;
- Assist with all credit control matters, ensuring process compliance;
- Understand the costs of debt enforcement and assist in making decisions on appropriate action;
- Negotiate payment plans and ensure terms complied with;
- Prepare court bundles.
What You Bring
- Experience in a similar type role, ideally at either Paralegal/Legal Executive or Solicitor level with experience of handling debt recovery matters, or be qualified by experience;
- Solid organisational skills and excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills, including relationship building with individuals across the business;
- Highly computer literate with experience of accounting packages;
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines, using a logical and methodical approach;
- A personal style that demonstrates authority, commitment and consistency, and inspires trust and confidence.
