This is a temporary position.
Your main responsibilities
- Monitoring and maintaining up-to-date records for client accounts and reviewing accounts in arrears to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- Notifying debtors of overdue payments and accounts by telephone, mail, and email, including timely follow-up when no response is received.
- Professionally handling customer inquiries, including providing detailed account reconciliations and statements as required.
- Tracing and locating debtors to establish payment arrangements.
- Recommending further action or service discontinuation when payment is not forthcoming, including liaising with Project Managers when necessary.
- Preparing reports related to collection activities.
- Attending Operations collections meetings.
- Providing billing and administrative support as needed.
- Responding to customer inquiries related to invoices, statements, or account balances.
- Preparing and updating customer account files and documentation.
- Assisting with data entry, files, and general finance-related tasks.

- Have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience;
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Enjoy problem solving and negotiating solutions;
- Comfortable working in a structured environment with clear objectives and performance targets;
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position is $47,934 to $62,913 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.
