Job Description

We’re seeking several enthusiastic and passionate Collections & Recoveries Management Information (MI) Analysts to join our team, where you’ll use data-led insight to influence decision-making and ensure customer outcomes remain at the heart of everything we do. To succeed in this role, you will have extensive experience of using SAS to manipulate large datasets, and using PowerBI to visualise and share insights with stakeholders across the organisation.

Our Collections and Recoveries business plays a vital role in supporting customers through some of life’s more challenging moments.

As we continue to evolve and transform how we work, we’re looking for talented individuals to help shape the future of our business.

Role Overview

This role will involve analysing complex financial and banking data using SAS to produce high-quality management information and data visualisations in Power BI. We also welcome applications from candidates with a Credit Risk background.

We are currently recruiting for a number of opportunities, including both 15-month Fixed Term Contract and permanent positions.

Work Environment

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, in the office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.

Company Update

Virgin Money is now part of Nationwide Nationwide acquired Virgin Money in October 2024. Virgin Money continues to serve customers on the high street, and there will be a phased and considered integration over the coming years. You’ll be employed by Nationwide from day one, delivering real impact and benefitting from a highly competitive range of benefits. We’re a workplace where you’re rewarded, recognised and celebrated.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
