About the Role
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, proactively engaging with customers regarding overdue payments.
- Work with customers to identify sustainable repayment solutions and appropriate support options.
- Handle sensitive conversations with professionalism, empathy, and fairness.
- Assess account activity and identify potential risks, escalating complex cases where required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all customer interactions are documented appropriately.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Risk, Recoveries, and Client Services to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications
Experience within collections, recoveries, credit control, customer account management, or financial services operations.

Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence positive outcomes.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to manage sensitive conversations professionally.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of regulated environments and the importance of compliance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
