We are seeking an experienced Collections Representative to join our team!
How You’ll Shine
- High volume outbound calls to negotiate, service, and collect on portfolio accounts.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to maximize satisfaction and mitigate complaints or escalations.
- Provide accurate advice on products, services, and accounts.
- Maximize recovery of arrears to ensure targets are consistently met.
- Work toward solutions with customers through empathy and negotiation.
- Make sound decisions based on customer’s ability and willingness to pay, aligned with legislative and policy guidelines.
- Implement timely resolutions for delinquent or irregular accounts.
- Maintain accurate records in collections and servicing systems while ensuring confidentiality.
- Follow up on accounts to ensure payment plans are fulfilled.
- Comply with regulations by completing required training and testing.
- Contribute proactively in team meetings to improve collections and recovery strategies.
- Achieve KPIs and targets on both individual and departmental levels.
- Perform account administration and other duties as required.
