🚨 Loan Recovery & Collections Specialist – Secured Lending

πŸ“ London / Home-based

πŸ’° Β£38,000–£68,000 + Performance Bonus + Benefits

I'm working with an exciting, fast-growing alternative SME lender that is looking to hire an experienced Loan Recovery & Collections Specialist to manage arrears and recoveries across a growing secured lending portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist lender at an important stage of growth, where you’ll have genuine ownership of the recovery process and work closely with senior leadership to protect the loan book and maximise recoveries.

This is not a high-volume consumer collections role β€” we are looking for someone with hands-on experience managing property-backed lending recoveries, including arrears management, legal escalation and enforcement processes.

The Role:

  • βœ… Manage the full arrears lifecycle from first missed payment through to resolution
  • βœ… Act as the main point of contact for borrowers experiencing financial difficulty
  • βœ… Manage formal arrears processes in line with FCA Consumer Duty requirements
  • βœ… Liaise with external solicitors, LPA receivers and recovery partners
  • βœ… Support property enforcement and recovery processes
  • βœ… Maintain accurate case records and provide portfolio reporting to senior leadership
  • βœ… Identify trends across the loan book and support improvements to credit and recovery processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
