We're delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing specialist business lender to recruit a Collections Advisor as part of their continued expansion. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to join a successful, ambitious business at an exciting stage of its growth.

The Role
You'll manage a portfolio of customers, working proactively with businesses to achieve positive outcomes when accounts fall into arrears. Taking a professional, empathetic and commercial approach, you'll balance excellent customer service with effective collections activity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound and outbound collections activity
- Contacting customers to discuss overdue accounts and agree suitable repayment arrangements
- Building positive relationships while maintaining regulatory and company standards
- Negotiating realistic payment solutions
- Accurately updating customer records and documenting all activity
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider business to achieve the best customer outcomes
- Identifying accounts requiring escalation where appropriate
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous B2B or consumer collections experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A calm, professional and empathetic approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively
- A positive attitude and desire to be part of a collaborative team
