As a Collections Supervisor in our Environmental Services team, you’ll lead frontline operational colleagues to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality services. You’ll help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly while maintaining excellent standards of performance, compliance and customer service.

What you’ll do as a Collections Supervisor
- Lead, supervise and coordinate operational activities to ensure services are delivered safely, professionally and efficiently.
- Monitor performance standards, quality measures and key performance indicators, taking prompt action where required.
- Manage, motivate and support colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, induction, performance management and development.
- Ensure all operational documentation, reporting requirements and records are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Promote a strong health, safety and compliance culture, ensuring policies, procedures and safe working practices are followed.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work collaboratively with stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Does this sound like you?
- Experience leading or supervising operational, field-based or manual workforces.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support people at all levels.
- Able to prioritise workloads, make decisions and manage competing demands effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining high compliance standards.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and operational systems, alongside a full driving licence.

Vetting and checks
A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
