About Us
5 Environmental is a specialist drainage and environmental services company providing solutions across drainage maintenance, wastewater management, and emergency response services.
The Role
We are currently looking for experienced Combination Jet Vac Drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for operating combination jet vacuum tankers to support drainage clearance, cleaning, and waste removal operations across commercial and domestic sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Combination Jet Vac tanker vehicles safely and efficiently
- Attending blocked drains, flooding incidents, and waste removal jobs
- Carrying out high-pressure jetting and vacuum extraction work
- Emptying, transporting, and disposing of waste materials in line with regulations
- Completing job sheets, reports, and digital paperwork accurately
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is maintained to standard
- Working as part of a drainage operations team on reactive and planned works
- Following strict health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Class 1 advantageous but not essential)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience operating a Combination Jet Vac or tanker preferred
- Drainage or utilities experience desirable
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Willingness to work shifts, including out-of-hours and weekends when required
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused attitude
