As a Command Center Manager – Global Security, Vice President at JPMorganChase within the Global Security team in London, you will lead a 24/7/365 Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) serving the EMEA region. You will be responsible for intelligence analysis, incident management, crisis response, and travel risk oversight — ensuring the firm can make informed decisions and maintain business continuity when it matters most. You will manage a team of analysts and operators, coordinate with global counterparts across APAC and the Americas, and serve as a critical link between on-the-ground operations and senior leadership. This role sits at the intersection of people, technology, and risk — and offers the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements in how the firm protects its people and operations worldwide.
Job responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the EMEA Command Center, ensuring consistent, high-quality incident detection, triage, and response across a 24/7/365 environment
- Proactively gather, monitor, and analyze geopolitical and security intelligence to deliver timely, actionable insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Prepare and disseminate incident notifications, alerts, and executive briefings that enable informed decision-making during emerging threats and active incidents
- Coordinate with APAC and Americas Command Centers to ensure globally aligned incident response and information sharing
- Lead and participate in crisis bridge calls, supporting Crisis Management Teams across EMEA and driving effective resolution of complex, multi-stakeholder incidents
- Oversee travel security operations, including real-time traveler monitoring, risk-based advisory, approval workflows, and exception management in line with firm policy
- Deliver crisis management training programs and simulation exercises, building organizational resilience and cross-functional preparedness
- Partner with Technology, Real Estate, Business Resiliency, and security teams to ensure coordinated response and continuous improvement of GSOC platforms and processes
- Manage, coach, and develop Command Center staff, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the firm's values and operational standards
- Produce executive-level reports and briefings that communicate risk posture, incident trends, and operational performance to senior stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in a Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) and crisis management environment, with demonstrated leadership of 24/7 operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex, fast-moving situations and translate intelligence into clear, actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level briefings, alerts, and incident reports
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment while maintaining accuracy and composure
- Deep knowledge of geopolitical, security, and risk issues across the EMEA region
- Experience coordinating cross-functional incident or crisis response involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, with the ability to leverage technology to support operational workflows and reporting
- Availability and willingness to work on-call on any given day, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in support of 24/7 operations
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience designing and delivering crisis management training programs or tabletop simulation exercises
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, and SharePoint to improve GSOC workflows and operational efficiency
- Experience supporting executive protection, travel risk programs, or high-risk country operations
- Background in coordinating with law enforcement, government agencies, or international security partners
- Professional certification in security management, crisis management, or business continuity (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Business Continuity Institute membership, or equivalent)
