The Role: Commercial Account Executive (Consumer & Local Commercial)
Our local Commercial team has grown significantly over 14 years, now employing over 200 people across the UK. This role is about building meaningful relationships—from sole traders to MDs/CEOs of larger organisations—while working closely with your Branch Manager to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow client relationships with a mix of new and existing accounts
- Develop business through marketing, networking, community engagement, and direct client engagement
- Identify and seize opportunities to drive best-in-class solutions for clients
- Actively listen and question to fully grasp client needs, offering consultative advice
- Build a ‘path to yes’—ensuring value aligns with client requirements
- Represent Howden professionally in your market to strengthen our local presence
