Commercial Insurance Account Executive
Location: Cornwall
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Commercial Insurance professional who enjoys building lasting client relationships and developing new business? Our client is looking for a driven and customer-focused Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join their growing team in Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established and respected brokerage, managing an existing portfolio while identifying opportunities to grow your client base.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, enjoys meeting clients face-to-face, and has the confidence to develop new business through networking and referrals.
The Role
As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will:
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of commercial clients.
- Identify and win new business opportunities across Cornwall.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their insurance requirements.
- Provide professional advice on a broad range of commercial insurance products.
- Work closely with the internal broking and support teams to ensure clients receive an outstanding service.
- Conduct client visits, attend networking events, and represent the business within the local community.
- Negotiate with insurers to obtain the most suitable cover and competitive premiums.
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within commercial insurance, ideally as an Account Executive or Development Executive.
- A proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience developing new business and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A consultative approach with a genuine desire to help clients.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- A full UK driving licence.
