Commercial Account Handler
Commercial Account Handler – Howden Consumer & Local Commercial

About the Role: Commercial Account Handler
We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has grown rapidly over the last 14 years, and we now have over 200 people within this team across the UK.
In this role, you will:
- Build rapport with new and existing clients, ranging from sole traders to MD/CEO of large organisations
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve team objectives

Key Responsibilities
- Review client documentation with strong attention to detail, ensuring all information is comprehensive and accurate to support the quoting process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Internal stakeholders
- Clients
- External contacts
- This ensures we meet expectations and compliance standards
- Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving:
- High levels of renewal retention
- Exceeding customer expectations
- Meeting FCA requirements
- Process data promptly and accurately across relevant systems to improve client service, internal processes, and facilitate informed analysis
