Commercial Account Handler

Location: Maidstone Salary: £Negotiable + Benefits

Reporting Line: Commercial Team Leader – Commercial Director

We are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to provide customer service to our clients within our professional and welcoming Maidstone office.

At Brown & Brown, we offer high-quality, specialist insurance solutions to Commercial clients throughout the UK. By focusing on long-term relationships and delivering tailored, technically robust advice, we achieve excellent customer satisfaction and retention.


Responsibilities

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be accountable for:

  • Providing a best possible customer experience and delivering specialist advice aligned with our core values
  • Accurately undertaking administrative tasks
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers
  • Ensuring all data, processes, and client fulfillment are aligned to company objectives

Requirements

  • No minimum educational entry level required or strict previous experience requirements – we are open to diverse backgrounds.

  • 3 years’ Commercial Insurance experience preferred, particularly with extensive knowledge of:

    • Property
    • Owners
    • Tradesman Policies
    • SME Package Business Solutions
    • Commercial Combined Cover and Combined Liability
    • Contractors All-Risk Covers
    • Preferred: Previous experience with Acturis
  • Essential skills:

    • Effective written and verbal communication
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • High attention to detail
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Exceptional time management and organisational ability
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
